2012 Charger named Automobile Magazine “All Star”

The full-sized car segment is competitive these days, and it takes a lot more than shiny metal and flashy wheels for leading automotive journalists to take notice. So when the writers at Automobile magazine named our 2012 Charger an “All Star, ” we were pleased.. You see, the Charger has received numerous awards this year that include Ward’s 10 Best Engines and Interiors along with a Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. It even got high praises for its best in class 31 mpg highway fuel economy with its 3.6L Pentastar V6 and new eight-speed automatic transmission.

But since the folks at Automobile drive and scrutinize hundreds of different nameplates a year and subject them through a battery tests, we are brimming with pride when they called us with the news. As Jean Jennings, President and Editor-in-Chief at Automobile put it, “We were impressed at how much more refined the 2012 Charger is. The interior is sophisticated, the exterior design is striking, and it’s thrilling to drive. The Charger definitely earned its place on this very exclusive All-Star list.”

A full size luxury car that gets 31 mpg is incredible.  In addition, this one looks good.  Great job, Dodge…now you are the leader again!
