Journey up North Part Two

When we last checked in with Redline Dodge correspondent Julie and her friends Desi, Sharon, and Elizabeth, their 2012 Dodge Journey was all loaded up for a trip from the metropolitan Detroit area to the ski country of Northern Michigan.  Let’s join part two of Julie’s Journey Up North:

What road trip is complete without some rocking tunes?  Taking advantage of the Uconnect Touch system, the Sirius XM Satellite Radio, and the auxiliary USB port  for the MP3 player in the center console,  we were jamming for the entire five-hour drive.

Our first stop was Boyne Highlands.  Although the Journey is spacious, we were so happy when we arrived and we were able to get out and stretch our legs.

The Journey’s large cargo area allowed us to collect up all our gear and suit up right there in the parking lot! The Keyless Enter-N-Go was a savior as well.  There’s a convenience we definitely didn’t take for granted.  It made life so much easier when we had all of our bags and gear in our hands – not to have to be fumbling for the keys to unlock the vehicle.

What girls’ trip would be complete without a little shopping?  After a beautiful day on the slopes, we headed into Petoskey to check out the local shops, adding a few additional pieces of cargo to help fill the Journey for the ride home.

Please stop back soon at Redline Dodge for the third and final installment of Julie’s Journey up North.
