Rallying Around a Great Cause!

Our fast friends over at SRT will once again participate in the annual Targa Newfoundland rally with a hot Viper ACR and a pair of thumping HEMI® powered Challengers. This grueling seven day rally is in its tenth year and covers almost 1400 miles along the majestic Atlantic coastline of Newfoundland, Canada. Even though the competitors battle the clock and other teams, they’re all on the same page racing for a cause by raising funds for the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador. As you know, Autism can be a devastating disorder that affects verbal and nonverbal communications and behavior among children. Our SRT gang is looking at donating at least $50,000 for the cause while showing the “Brand X” teams our taillights!

I like the AAR ‘cuda stripe with the word Mopar at the end.  Good looking car and a good cause.  They should have used that stripe for the Mopar ’10 Challenger. Good luck with both.

Cool car! Is that a Duster or Demon?

  • SUBLIME

Its a Duster because it has the big bumpers on it.  They only made the Demon for two years (1971-72) because the religious zealots got upset about the name.  I think they changed it to Dart Sport.

Great to see Ralph Gilles and all the SRT drivers back in St.John’s, Newfoundland, for the
Targa race. It’s great to see the Dodge support and representation here for all of us MOPAR
fans in Newfoundland. Thanks for your involvement, and I hope you take the win.
Will be cheering you guys on!…..see you on the road!
