Unveiled: Covers come off at SEMA 2010


 

 


As the doors open at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the thousands of diehard enthusiasts looking for the newest and hottest products for their vehicles stream in like a religious pilgrimage, Red Letter Dodge is embedded at ground zero (the Mopar/Dodge display, where else?).

    You guys have out done yourselves. The Charger is red hot. The Challenger is a monster machine and the Citadel looks sharp. The interiors are phenomenal and I am so glad Fiat has left you alone to do your own thing. I really think you are going to bring a lot of people back to Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, etc. Keep up the good work! By the way, I like the three spoke steering wheels.

    Awesome display of Mopar power and great pics. Can we get a few more pics of the Dodge pickup in the tunnel? Also, please pass on to Mopar that we need some functional butterfly valves for the hood scoops on the Challenger!

    I like the red interior on the Charger. I noticed that the steering wheel and the dash say SRT so is the redline an R/T or an SRT? I think you should just make the hood bulge an air grabber with a 392 HEMI and then make it an SRT. However, the door scoops wouldn’t look as good with the SRT logo inplace of the R/T logo. Anyhow, looks really mean and fast. Great job.

    The back is awesome looking with that body spoiler. Really nice job.
    To be honest, I don’t know why anyone would buy an SRT version of this car when they
    can get an SRT Challenger for around the same price. When the first 4 door chargers came
    out it made sense because there was no Challenger at that time, and no real thought that
    there ever was going to be one. I can see where they were going with it. Trying to give consumers a compromise with a 4 door and a muscle car, but with the Challenger on the
    scene, it kind of loses that appeal. I am sure when the first ’06 charger was shown, it was a real shocker, especially knowing it replace the LH platform of cars.

    Gorgeous Charger! It would be cool to give the R/T version seen here the SRT motor, six speed and a 1970 style air grabber hood and leave it called a Charger R/T. If not a factory option, an aftermarket air grabber from Mopar would be a nice option. That would complete the package. Oh yeah… PLEASE include a nicer Hemi engine cover than that gray one on the production car. At least put the orange Mopar version on there. At car shows it just looks blah. Thanks!
