You may have some rethinking to do. What happens when you take an old 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, spruce it up a bit (read: pack it with a 1,000-horsepower Viper V-10), pit it against a Ferrari Enzo, and take it out on the track at the Chrysler proving grounds in Chelsea, Michigan? Well, if youre Legendary Motorcar, you end up tearing off your windshield molding and popping your hood line three full inches youre going so fast but you also smoke the Ferrari on the straightaway and, getting some great footage for the season finale of the show Dream Car Garage. “The Super Cuda on the last pass ran 208 mph,” says driver/LMC president Peter Klutt. The scariest part? She apparently still has a lot left in the tank: It wasn’t because it was running out of horsepower, it was running out of aero, Klutt says. And I was running out of cojones.
