This Sunday will mark the running of the Aarons 499 on the 2.66-mile oval at Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama and a major event for the Dodge Motorsports team. Leading the pack for the will be the new Dodge Challenger pace car, featured in the photos above (and below, after the jump).
In addition to the Challenger pace car, the Dodge team will also be rolling out a few more surprises on and off the track. Thanks to Talladegas unique track configuration and high speeds the Dodge-powered Penske Racing teammates will be running a new rear spoiler and smaller restrictor plate. Although the team has put the new configurations up against rigorous testing, the crew is cautiously optimistic about Sundays performance.
