Talk To the SRT Engineers Today from 6 to 8 pm Eastern

Got a burning question you’ve been dying to ask the great minds behind the Street and Racing Technology (SRT) team? (Beyond “Can you give me a 2010 Viper for Christmas?”) Well, today is your lucky day! The SRT Engineers are sitting down at LXForums this evening (Wednesday, December 2, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Eastern) to answer any SRT-related inquiries from you.

The thread has already been opened for your questions here.

Hello, My question is that do you have any plans on returning the classics like the Dodge Dart or The Plymouth Barracuda even the Plymouth Duster.. I would love to know… Thank you

    My question is this,

Has the SRT team considered returning the SRT Badge to the Ram Line up? If so, are they planning on the Viper V-10 or have they thought about bringing the 6.1L as a new powerplant for the ram?

You can’t even talk to them…you have to become some member of some forum. What a joke. I guess they want to “Dodge” answering any questions. Sales plummet again for November, gee I wonder why. Heaven forbid we want any input from the customers who purchase our vehicles. All you have to do is paint them the colors we want and you could sell them. Are you deaf or do you have to go bankrupt for the third time. Three strikes and you are out. We are sick and tired of you ignoring us. All my loyal mopar friends have already left the ranks and think I am stupid for staying with them. All I want is a sublime Challenger and it looks like I will never get it. How stupid I was to think you cared about the customer.

Why can’t we ask them questions on this site? Why are they not here on Dodge’s site?
Who the heck is in charge of planning this stuff?

I am starting to feel like sublime is a no show on the challenger. No news from rld is bad news.

Yellow was supposed to be available in the spring and here it is almost winter and I have yet to see a yellow Challenger. The Plum Crazy paint will be lucky to even make it on the 2010 models. Sublime may be a 2011 option and by then we will already have had to purchase another vehicle. Very poor business practices…very poor. Shame on you Dodge and why did you put that crappy looking aftermarket wing on the Viper? The prototype Superbird wing looked so much cooler and sleeker. It looks like one of those tuner guys got a hold of a viper and screwed it up. The offcenter stripes looks like you wrecked the car and pieced a red car with a black car. Does anybody with any design sense work at Dodge anymore? Come on you can tell if a car looks good or not, can’t you?

    Indyrider and coolmancool,

(We posted a similar response on the Detonator Yellow thread as well.)

We do read (and appreciate) your comments and take them into consideration. Sublime has not been ruled out by any means — we still have new colors coming down the pike. We understand it can be frustrating waiting for new colors, but all we can say is we’re working on it, and please stay tuned…

    Thanks for supporting Dodge!

Will the 6.4l (392) hemi showup in the near future?

(A challenger in an color is tops. I purchased an 2008 SRT orange auto and a black SRT 2009 manual. All I can say is wow when I drive either one. My favorite however is the 6spd.)

I know you read the posts and your feedback is appreciated. But some of us are hitting the time limit. I hope you can do a green challenger soon. What can I do to help make this happen?

Indyrider, you are so right. They already posted a blog about what color people want and sublime came up on top and here they go and post a voting poll. It is always the same answer – sublime, but they think they can stall for another year if they keep doing this. Does it take three years to make a decision in Dodge, man I can see why you guys are in trouble.

Mark Mallie posted on another thread:
“Indyrider/CMC we appreciate your patience. From your perspective it might seem like an easy change – just add the damn paint! Things are never that easy as you know from your professional life…
We have been managing paint on Challenger adding as many colors as the plant can handle. For 2010 Model Year in addition to the 10 standard paints at the plant and any special paints for Charger Police Cars, we have built B5 Blue, Detonator Yellow, Plum Crazy is just beginning, Hemi Orange is coming back in 1st Quarter 2010, and one more new color to be announced soon. This color is not Sublime. Green is in our future, we are hoping to do something in the 2010 Calendar Year.
We promise we’ll let you know here on this blog as new Challenger content and colors come to life. If you have further questions, please click “contact us” at the bottom of the page and drop us a line directly. Thank you for your longtime support of Dodge.”

can you fit a 2015 hellcat 8 speed automatic in a 2006 5.7 dodge charger. my tranny blew and I have to upgrade it anyway. I have a built 5.7with a vortex supercharger that’s going to be at 650 to 700 hp to rear wheels.
