The Dodge Kahuna Concept

Kowabunga! Here’s a Dodge concept vehicle from back in 2003 that was nothing but fun—the surf-flavored Kahuna.

 

Unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the Kahuna featured a fully retractable fabric roof and frameless windows that tucked out of sight completely inside the body.

 

Three rows of flexible seating—based on the Dodge Caravan Stow ‘n Go system—provided the interior accommodations, while surf boards could be stowed on the handy roof rack. The floor was polished wood, much like a boat deck.
