The ninth annual Spring Festival of LXs is now over, and its 1,200-plus participants are — by now — back to work and getting set for next year’s event. I’m still amazed by the variety of modern Dodge LX-based cars that turned out. We saw 4-door Magnum wagons, 4-door Charger sedans and 2-door Challenger pony cars, most of which packed 5.7-liter HEMI® power beneath their sleek hoods.

2011 One Lap of America Crosses the Finish Line!

 

The grueling week long 2011 One Lap of America event that covered almost 4000 miles has finally crossed the finish line. Our SRT Dynamic Duo of Erich Heuschele and Adam Forte drove their production 2011 Challenger SRT8 to an amazing 14th overall finish among the 75 competitors. Our stock 392 HEMI® muscled its way past more exotic hardware like Porsche GT3s, ZR1 and ZO6 Corvettes and BMW M Series.
