Kurt Busch ended up on the right side of what turned out to be a fuel mileage race Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway. Busch didn’t have to make a late-race stop for a splash of fuel. He had enough to make it to the checkered flag of the 312-lap event to finish ninth in the Kobalt Tools 500.

Brad Keselowski Clinches Nascar Nationwide Championship

 

Brad Keselowski needed to finish 21st or better in Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway to clinch the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series championship. He did that and more, finishing a strong third to secure the title, the first for Roger Penske and Penske Racing in NASCAR competition. It was also the first championship for Dodge in the series and seventh overall. Dodge has four titles in Sprint Cup and two in the Camping World Truck Series.
