Early Trouble in Sprint All-Star Race, “Big Show” in the Sprint Showdown

 

The fate of both Dodge drivers in the annual Sprint All-Star Race was decided early Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Kurt Busch and Brad Keselowski had problems in the first 25 laps of the 100-lap event run in four segments, creating a deficit they could not overcome.

 

Keselowski had to earn his way into the All-Star field and did so by finishing second in the 40-lap Sprint Showdown. Busch was making his 10th consecutive start in the spectacle.

Keselowski and Busch Post Top-15 Finishes at Dover

 

Brad Keselowski and Kurt Bush were expecting a bit more, but when 400 grueling laps were completed Sunday at Dover International Speedway, top-15 finishes were welcomed.  The “Monster Mile” provided to be difficult with an array of obstacles.  Most prominent – the ever changing track conditions.

Brad Keselowski Celebrates 2010 NNS Championship


 

It’s official. Brad Keselowski has taken Dodge and Penske Racing to the pinnacle of the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Keselowski was officially crowned the 2010 Nationwide champion following Saturday’s 300-mile season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It’s the first title in the division for Dodge and seventh overall in the three NASCAR national series. For Penske Racing, it’s the first NASCAR title in the team’s history.
