In the swinging ‘60s, Dodge introduced an entire palette of far-out exterior colors for its world-beating muscle car lineup. Known as High Impact Paint (H.I.P. for short), the assortment of groovy hues included Go Mango, Sublime, and Citron Yella. There’s a long-standing tradition at Dodge: No boring cars. And that means no boring colors.

 

Back in 1969, Dodge designers shook the automotive scene to its core with a crazy palette of exterior paint colors for the company’s already wild muscle car lineup.  They gave the colors equally far-out names:  Hemi® Orange. Go Mango.  Citron Yella. Sublime. Panther Pink. Top Banana. And Plum Crazy, like on the Charger above.
