So when will Dodge redo the Ramcharger? The Ramcharger was my first vehicle and I’ve always loved them even now.

  • Paul Immo

I just love Ralph Gilles! He is a no nonsense true Car Guy!

Ralph seems like a nice guy, a good talker and I think his heart is in the right place, but how can he allow some of these products to come to market. That grill on the SRT Charger is HIDEOUS and those funky wheels on the new green Challenger. Ouch! They look like they are made out of plastic. Just offer the Redline Charger as the SRT and you are good to go. Then they have R/T minivans, SUVs, etc. and they don’t have stripes or something that at least makes them look tough. What??? Just paint the car one color, give it a rougher ride, and slap a chrome R/T badge on the back and we are good to go. What??? Have a little pow wow with the crowd and tell them this is what people want and they will believe it. No, its not going to work.

I have been an owner of a 2006 Dodge Charger for the past 5 years. I had really started to consider moving to a Dodge Challenger when this one is paid off at the end of the year like most other original LX-platform owners have already done. This creation of the Dodge Charger by the SRT Group brought me right back to the car that I love and I can’t wait to order one when they become available. Hats off to the SRT design team on this one. Its also cool to see the adjustable suspension that was previewed at the 2009 LX & Beyond Nationals made it to production. That makes me want this one even more. Anybody that did not get a chance to ride in the test vehicle and feel this one for themselves are going to be extremely pleased.

Yeah, I tend to agree that he seems like a good guy with good intentions, and he loves cars, but……

First he says “yes we’ve abused the “R/T” badge”, then says “and so we have a whole slew of new “R/T” vehicels including a van”.

    Pot, Kettle……Kettle, Pot.

I’m really trying to like the 2011, and appreaciate the attempt to make it at least resemble a Charger, I really do. I think it looks A LOT better than that other car, but stuff like this just kills it for me.
