LA Auto Show Discussion With Ralph Gilles

During the 2010 LA Auto Show, a small group of automotive journalists and bloggers had an opportunity to have intimate one-on-one discussions with Dodge President and CEO Ralph Gilles.

Here Ralph talks about the 2011 Charger’s thoroughly modern yet heritage inspired attitude along with the numerous new refinements while espousing Charger’s inherent sedan virtues.

Good comments, Ralph! I am glad you have a passion for what you do. Money isn’t everything. I would rather race a Viper and hit all the auto shows any day of the week. The cars are really taking shape and we appreciate the way you and Sergio are turning things around. Keep up the good work and make sure you offer a special edition Redline Charger. That car is red hot. Bring back the air grabber for the hood. It would fit perfectly.

Looking good. Ralph is the right man for the right job. A car guy.

When will the online configuator go live? I’m very hopeful that the red interior makes it to production. Maybe there will be a 6 speed manual in the SRT8.

A B5 blue Charger SRT8 with a stick and white leather interior. That would be something.
