Dodge Journey Walkaround Part Four – Technology

Here’s part four of our video tour of the 2012 Dodge Journey, where Dodge Brand Manager Pieter Hogeveen and correspondent Heather Heughens talk about the crossover’s innovative technology, starting with the generous 8.4-inch touchscreen.

“It’s a great infotainment system,” says Hogeveen. “Through Bluetooth you can stream your own music onto the touchscreen. We use Gracenote technology so you can see the album art of what you’re listening to on the screen.

“You can access the climate control and we offer the Sirius Travel Link, where you have the option to access movie times and gas prices. We know people lead active lifestyles so through our technology we try to feed them as much information as possible. “

The touchscreen also serves as the video display for the available ParkView rear back-up camera. “This is a great safety feature,” Hogeveen notes with pride. “ When you put the car in reverse it’s not a small little screen you look at. It’s 8.4 inches of back-up camera.”
