After some serious sweating, we finally managed to narrow down the entries to our 2011 Dodge Charger Pursuit poster giveaway to the 10 we thought were the best. It wasnt easy, though. With over 80 comments all telling us exactly what makes the Charger Pursuit king of the heap, we had a hard time picking out just 10, but hey, the rules are the rules. After plenty of deliberation and more than a little back and forth, we finally picked out the lucky guys and gals. Who came out on top? There were plenty of great answers, but we were particularly fond of user Will Halls response.
He wrote, Because it is and always will be the meanest, beefiest and greatest police and civilian sedan ever built. Careful Will, you just might make us blush.
User Jerry was no less flattering with his appraisal of what puts the Charger Pursuit on top by writing, The aggressiveness of the cruiser can sometimes defray a situation, by sheer presence alone, even for a moment, and give an officer a slight edge. The cruiser has to show a potential threat that the officer means business, and the Chargers fascia and stance does just that. Big. Imposing. Aggressive.
Those are just a couple of our favorites. If you like what you hear, you can head over to the entry post here to read every last response. Just remember that its better to see the 2011 Charger on a dealer lot than in your rearview mirror with the blue lights on, so keep that Hemis cruise control set to the speed limit on your way over.

What makes the Charger Police the meanest of them all? The fact that the legendary HEMI engine is unmatched? Yes. The fact that in the most recent police tests it was the best all-round to the others? Yes. The fact that in a pursuit it can take down the average street ricer? YES! The better question here is what doesnt make the Charger Police the meanest of them all and the short and best answer to that, Nothing, because it is and always will be the meanest, beefiest, and greatest police and civilian sedan ever made.

Have you every had your foot in the gas, your HEMI a humming and you see in your mirror a Charger police cruiser. Out of respect you pull over and hope for a Charger moment.

The history of mopar police cars speaks for itself. But the charger police car is just an awesome machine, with the best handling and the best powerplant you could put together

The police cruiser itself is as much a part of the officer as any other tools at his disposal. The police cruiser has many jobs to do, and one of them, in certain situations, to be an intimidation factor. The aggressiveness of the cruiser can sometimes defray a situation, by sheer presence alone, even for a moment, and give an officer a slight edge. The cruiser has to show a potential threat that the officer means business, and the Chargers facia and stance is just that. Big. Imposing. Aggressive. Its a huge improvement of over the homogenized vanilla looks of the new Impala cars that so many precincts have used as of late. The police and their vehicles NEED every advantage to assist them in what they do. The Chargers visual ability to make its presence felt, does it far better than any late model sedan, and that factor alone is a definite plus in the pro column. The bulletproof trans, the power and the handling make this a great police/community vehicle, its overall design takes the black and white paint scheme VERY well, and lets face it, the Charger looks great!

Dodge created a legendary supercar in the Viper and that tradition has continued with the re-invention of the Charger.

All you have to do is look at that front end to see how mean this car is. The slight curve of the headlights look like the eyes of some evil beast ready to pounce on criminals. The grill is like a toothy grin of a snarling Doberman. Add the push bar in front of that, and it gives the impression of mouth restraints on it, giving rise to the suspicion that it is a truly mean beast. And with the growl of the HEMI underneath the hood, criminals should run to their mommies, terrified in fear.

Menacing looks from the redesigned grill and headlamps through the perfectly sculpted hood and side panels to the new LED, full-length tailamps. All of those looks backed up by a HEMI the new Charger has the bark and the bite!

Fast enough to catch your common vehicle but also fast enough to catch those faster cars.

When you see the red-and-blue flashing in your rear view, you know your in trouble. When you see that the car sporting them colors is a 2011 Dodge Charger, you know its just best to pull over.
