Kurt Busch Takes 8th at Pepsi 500; Kasey Kahne Flames Out

Dodge drivers had a mixed day at the Pepsi 500 this weekend. Kasey Kahne had to pit after getting caught up in a major wreck that dropped him to an eventual 34th place finish behind winner Jimmie Johnson.

Kurt Busch finished eighth, which led all Dodge drivers, but dropped one spot in The Chase, to 6th place.

Next chance at redemption: the NASCAR Banking 500 this weekend. (See all races and times here.)

Gee wiz, Jimmy Johnson won another race in California. Boy, that was unusual, ha, ha. Looks like he will win NASCAR forever so why doesn’t Dodge pull out and spend money on painting its cars all of the high impact colors.

We can tell Richard Petty Motorsports we are pulling your support months ahead of time, however, we cannot tell our customers that we are going to offer a color that they have been waiting for for over 35 years to be put on a two door muscle car months ahead of time. Come on man, what is the deal? I thought Fiat was going to fix things, however, it looks like no one can.

SUBLIME green on a R/T Classic or SRT. Then next year you can offer the color again on a T/A Challenger. Then the next year you can offer the same color on a Challenger with a shaker hood. Then the next year you could offer the same color on a newly designed two door Charger that looks like a 1969. Just offer sublime already we have been very patient.

NASCAR is run by Chevy and Toyota, all the Mopar and Ford fans should boycott the races.
