AVONDALE, Ariz. (Saturday, April 18, 2009) – It came down to a three-car shootout for the win Saturday night in the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway. Kurt Busch, driving the No.2 Miller Lite Dodge, was right in the middle of the action, just as he had been throughout the 312-lap race which started under the late-afternoon sun and ended under the lights.

Weekend Preview: Busch To Make 300th Career NASCAR Sprint Cup Start At Phoenix

PHOENIX (April 16, 2009) – The tricky one-mile oval of Phoenix International Raceway welcomes the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series this weekend for the Subway Fresh Fit 500. The event is the eighth of 36 events on the NASCAR regular-season schedule.

With the elimination of testing at NASCAR-sanctioned tracks this season, this weekend’s event at PIR has created additional interest as drivers will be competing on a one-mile oval for the first time in 2009.
