Here’s part two of our Video tour of the 2012 Dodge Journey. In this episode, Dodge Brand Manager Pieter Hogeveen and correspondent Heather Heughens check out the Journey’s unique interior features.

“We’ve added a lot of soft touch materials to the vehicle,” says Hogeveen. “We’ve added a lot of technology to the vehicle. I don’t think there’s a part in the vehicle that’s untouched. There’s accent stitching throughout the interior that normally you see on premium vehicles, but we brought it to the crossover segment on the Journey.”

Other noteworthy cabin features include optional third-row seating and in-floor storage in the second row, a convenience usually found in minivans but cleverly engineered into the Dodge crossover.  “We looked at what do people want in minivans. We looked at what do people have in SUVs,” says Hogeveen. “That’s how we offer a very versatile and functional interior.” For more, view the video.
